Ajit Kumar appointed as ambassador and permanent representative of India to UN offices in Geneva
New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS): Ajit Kumar has been appointed as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations Offices in Geneva, the MEA said on Thursday.
"Ajit Kumar, (IFS:1979), presently Consul General, Consulate General of India, Atlanta, has been appointed as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations Offices in Geneva," read a MEA statement.
He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
