Amit Shah congratulates Vijay Rupani

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IBNS): BJP president Amit Shah on Friday congratulated Vijay Rupani as he was selected as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Nitin Patel has been selected as his deputy.

"I congratulate Sh @vijayrupanibjp & Sh Nitin Patel ji for taking over as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat respectively," Shah tweeted.

"I am confident that under the able leadership of Shri @vijayrupanibjp and Shri Nitin Patel Gujarat will continue to prosper," he said.

Rupani will replace Anandiben Patel. She resigned from the post recently.
