The bridal look of Radhika Merchant was shared by stylist Rhea Kapoor as she geared up for her wedding with Anant Ambani on Friday and oh boy, she nailed it in a stunning lehenga designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Stylist Rhea Kapoor took to Instagram to share pictures of Radhika as a bride.

The 29-year-old opted for the heavily-embroidered ivory ensemble with red and gold accents and accentuated her look with elegant jewellery.

Her outfit is a traditional interpretation of ‘Panetar’, a Gujarati tradition of brides wearing red and white, Rhea detailed.

The who's who of Bollywood including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan, among others, arrived for the grand wedding at their traditional best.

However, the guest list was not limited to India alone with Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, and former British prime minister Tony Blair being some of the famous faces who flew into Mumbai to attend the star-studded event.

The wedding also attracted many of the biggest names in Indian entertainment, sport, business and politics, from former president Ram Nath Kovind, Lalu Prasad Yadav to chief ministers of various states like Mamata Banerjee, Yogi Adityanath and Akhliesh Yadav among others.

Members of the country’s revered national cricket team including MS Dhoni and his family attended the grand ceremony.

Bollywood power couples, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, and Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani, too lit up the grand wedding.

In a rain-soaked Mumbai, police closed roads leading to the area surrounding the Ambani-owned, 16,000-capacity Jio World Convention Center ahead of a red-carpet-style arrival event.

Attendees were dressed in their traditional best including custom sarees, lehengas and kurtas at an event that may set forthcoming trends in Indian wedding fashion.

The Amabnis kicked off the pre-wedding ceremonies by organising a mass wedding for underprivileged couples marking the union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Pop singer Justin Bieber was hired at Rs. 83 crore to sing at the Sangeet ceremony of Anant-Radhika wedding.
