| | Feb 23, 2015, at 06:31 pm
New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS) Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare is in the national capital to lead his anti Land Acquisition Bill protest against the Modi government and said all political parties can join him but not share the main stage.

At the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, he begins his two-day protest.

"All can come and join the protest. But politicians are now welcome on the stage. They can sit in the crowd and support us," he told media.

He is also meeting Delhi chief minister and his former anti-corruption fight colleague Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, said reports.

Hazare is leading thousands  of farmers in the protest against the bill through Ordinance route which he says has not taken into the account the opinion of the people and the farmers.

He earlier had flagged off a march from Haryana to New Delhi against the Land Acquisition Bill brought by an ordinance of the BJP-led government in New Delhi.

Hazare is protesting against the land bill with farmers' groups, urging the Modi government to withdraw the ordinance.

He also threatened a mass movement on the issue.
