Itanagar, Feb 21 (IBNS): Just two days after two rape accused persons were lynched in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tezu town, another rape incident triggered violence in the China bordering state.

Angry mob had dragged a rape accused naked to street and also vandalized police station at Yingkiong in Upper Siang district on Feb 20.

According to the reports, the accused person is a teacher and he allegedly raped a 6-year-old girl on Feb 17 at Saint Thomas private school at Yingkiong.

On Feb 19, the minor girl had reported to her mother of stomach pain and also described about sexual assault by her teacher.

The mother of the victim girl had immediately informed police and also informed some relative members.

As the information gone viral, some people had dragged the accused person naked to street and handed over to police.

Meanwhile, the rape accused was shifted from Yingkiong to Aalo in West Siang district on Feb 19 night and next day the angry mob had vandalized the Yingkiong police station.

The mob had damaged properties of the police station and also a vehicle.

On Wednesday, a public rally was organised at Yingkiong town to protest against the transfer of the rape accused from Yingkiong and demanded that accused must be brought back to Yingkiong.
