Srinagar: The Indian Army rescued nearly 20 kids from a school near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

The kids were stuck during a ceasefire violation by Pakistan.

A video showed the kids rescued in a bullet proof vehicle to a safer place.

India and Pakistan are experiencing a heightened tension since the February 14 Pulwama attack which had killed at least 40 Indian paramilitary personnel. The attack was carried out by Pakistan-based militant organisation Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).

A fresh rivalry between the nations has started after New Delhi on August 5 scrapped Article 370 to withdraw Jammu and Kashmir's special status.
