Arvind Kejriwal, his parents receive first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Delhi

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his parents on Thursday received the first dose of Coronavirus vaccine here at LNJP Hospital here.

 

The Delhi Chief Minister received the vaccine jab on the fourth day of the second phase of the nationwide vaccination drive against the Covid-19.

In a tweet, the AAP said Kejriwal was administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at Delhi Government's LNJP Hospital, along with his parents.

"In the ongoing vaccination drive, elderly and those in the age group 45-59 years having comorbidities are being administered the vaccine," the AAP said.

The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16 and vaccination of the frontline workers (FLWs) started from February 2.

The next phase of Covid-19 vaccination has commenced on March 1 for those who are over 60 years of age and for people aged 45 and above with specific comorbid conditions.
