Assam Rifles destroy huge quantity of illegal liquor in Nagaland

Guwahati/IBNS: Troops of Assam Rifles have destroyed a huge quantity of illegal liquor in Nagaland’s Mokokchung district.

Mokokchung battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) along with police representatives, destroyed a total quantity of 165 cases of IMFL at Tuli town on Thursday.

The consignment was destroyed in the presence of the destruction Committee head from SDO Tuli Sub Div, SDPO Tuli, OC PS Tuli, representatives from Watsu Telen (Women Association), Student Union, Ward Union Chairman and Town Council Chairman Tuli.

Locals expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles for their efforts in reaching out to the them and working for a noble cause of fighting the menace of illegal IMFL trading.
