Assam Rifles nab five NSCN (KN) militants with arms in Nagaland

Guwahati/IBNS: The Assam Rifles have apprehended five militants of NSCN (KN) with arms in Nagaland's Dimapur area.

 

According to the reports,  based on intelligence input, the troops of Assam Rifles conducted an operation in Dimapur area on Tuesday evening and nabbed the militants.

Security personnel had recovered three pistols with magazines, several rounds live ammunition, six mobile phone handsets,  extortion letters in possession from them.

Later, the apprehended and the recoveries were handed over to the police for further investigation.
