Assam Rifles organizes security meet in Nagaland

Kohima: Longding Battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North), organised a security meet at LongKhaw and Maihua in Nagaland.

The security meet was to generate awareness and to motivate the civil population in assisting security forces for maintaining peace and sharing info of militant groups activities in the region.

Locals were briefed not to fall prey to recruit drive of NSCN K-YA/any other faction.

They were briefed about the Unit's initiatives in preparing the youth for recruit into armed forces.

 

All village Chief's Youth/Students Union President and important personalities attended the security meet.

The initiative was highly appreciated by the attendees and they assured their support to the security forces in maintaining peace and harmony.
