Assam: Two killed, several others injured in two separate road mishaps

Guwahati/IBNS: At least two people were killed and several others injured in two separate road accidents in Assam’s Darrang and Nagaon districts.

Two people were killed at Mangaldoi area in Darrang district on Thursday morning when an unknown vehicle hit them.

According to the reports, the unknown vehicle hit the victims when they went for morning walk.

The deceased persons were identified as Suren Saharia and Kiran Sarma.

On the other hand, at least six people including a child were injured when head-on-collision between two vehicles at Raha in Nagaon district.

The injured persons were rushed to hospital.
