Assam’s indigenous Muslims' body to donate Rs 5 lakh for Ram Mandir construction

Guwahati/IBNS As preparations are in full swing for the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the indigenous Muslims of Assam have announced to donate Rs 5 lakh for construction of Ram Mandir.

The indigenous Muslims of Assam have also appealed all sections of people including Muslims of the country to come forward and extend their contributions for Ram Mandir construction.

Mominul Awal – Convenor of the co-ordination committee of 21 indigenous Muslim organizations of Assam said that – “We had announced to donate Rs 5 lakh for construction of Ram Mandir following the Supreme Court verdict. We are welcoming that the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for Ram Mandir construction works will be held on August 5.”

Mominul Awal – who is the convenor of Janagosthiyo Samannay Parishad, Assam – a forum of 21 organizations representing indigenous Muslim communities such as Goria, Moria, Deshi, Jola and others of the state, has also appealed the Muslims of the country and other sections to come forward and extend their contributes for construction of Ram Mandir.

“This Ram Mandir is not only for a particular section, it is the basis of pride for every citizen of the country. In our Indian history, we have placed Ram as the top most position and he is god. We believe that, every people of the country including Muslims should come forward and extend contributes for construction of Ram Mandir,” Mominul Awal said.

He further said that – “We are Indian, Bharatiya and Hindu as we are living in India, Bharat or Hindustan.”

“We are living in Assam, so we are Assamese. There are different religions and it is a different thing, but we are Assamese. In the same way, we are Indian Bharatiya and Hindu as we are living in India, Bharat or Hindustan,” Mominul Awal said.
