Ayodhya judgement day: Eerie silence prevails over Uttar Pradesh

Ayodhya/UNI: An eerie silence prevailed in Uttar Pradesh particularly in the epicentre Ayodhya on Saturday amid tight security to maintain peace in the region ahead of the much-awaited Supreme Court verdict.

The vehicular traffic is normal in the morning.

 

All the educational institutions have been closed for 3 days and government offices, Banks are closed on account of second Saturday.

The state government has taken several measures to to check the social media and around 500 people have been booked so far. Around 5000 anti-social elements have been found by the police.

Indo-Nepal border has been sealed while Ayodya has turned into a fortress where entry of all vehicles have been banned.

People going towards Ayodhya are being thoroughly checked at the barriers set up at all entry points while commandos have been deployed at the bunkers at almost all the crossings of the temple city.
