Bareilly: Six-year-old girl dies after being thrashed by father

Bareilly, Oct 4 (IBNS): In a brutal incident in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, a six-year-old girl died after being thrashed by her father for not being able to keep her head covered while having food.
 
The incident happened on Saturday, when Zafar saw his daughter eating while her 'dupatta' slipped from over her head.
 
In a fit of rage, he allegedly thrashed her, smashing her head against the floor until she was dead, media reports said.
 
The girl's father was arrested after his wife registered an FIR against him.
