Kolkata/IBNS: Countering the Trinamool Congress' campaigns, the West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday launched Lokkho Sonar Bangla campaign to reach out to the people of the state ahead of the assembly elections.

In the campaign, around 40 leaders of the BJP will address people at a designated place in all 294 assembly constituencies.

From unemployment to corruption, the saffron party said it will raise all issues during the meetings.

The campaign was launched by BJP MP Swapan Dasgupta and the intellectual cell of the party.

The assembly elections are due to be held in April-May 2021.
