Big blow to terror in Jammu and Kashmir: Top JeM commander Saifullah Baloch killed in Kishtwar encounter

At least three terrorists were killed during a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district on Sunday, White Knight Corps said.

A top commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Saifullah Baloch, was trapped during the operation and killed in the ensuing gunfight, India Today reported.

Saifulla Baloch was one of the most wanted terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. He carried a bounty of Rs 5 lakh.

The White Knight Corps posted on X: "In continued operations under #OpTrashi-I in Kishtwar, troops of CIF (D) #WhiteKnightCorps, in coordination with @JmuKmrPolice and #CRPF, have ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜. ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ."

The White Corps said the joint operation was launched in the Kishtwar region under Operation Trashi-I to track and neutralise terrorists operating in the area.

" Displaying tactical precision, seamless synergy and resolute aggression, troops dominated the encounter site wherein ๐˜๐˜„๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐˜€ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฑ. ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐—ฟ-๐—น๐—ถ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€ including 02 x AK-47 rifles have also been recovered," reads the X post.
