Big fire breaks out in Surat building

Surat, May 29 (IBNS) A devastating fire broke out in a commercial building in Gujarat's Surat city on Thursday, triggering panic in the area as the flames engulfed almost all floors of the multi-storied office complex.

However, reports said all people in the building- Orchid Complex- came out to safety. 

Flames were leaping out of several of the 17 floors of the building at Sahara Darwaza area as fire fighters struggled to control the blaze that broke out after 10 am

Ten fire tenders are in the area. 
 
The building is a hub of textile traders with storage facilities there.
