Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Modi tests Covid-19 positive, hospitalised

Patna/IBNS: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi on Thursday said he was hospitalised after testing positive for Novel Coronavirus.

Modi said he was admitted to a hospital for better monitoring of his health.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader tweeted, "Tested positive for Corona. All parameters perfectly normal.Started with mild temperature. No temperature.for last 2 days.Admitted to AIIMS Patna for better monitoring. CT scan of lungs normal.Will be back soon for campaigning."

Modi tested positive for the deadly virus at a time he was campaigning for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.

The state polls will begin on Oct 28.
