Bihar: Dreaded Maoist surrenders before police

Gaya, Oct 4 (UNI) With an objective to join mainstream of the society, a dreaded Maoist surrendered before police here today.

An active member of outlawed CPI (Maoist) Samir alias Shashi Ranjan surrendered before Gaya senior police superintendent Rajiv Mishra at his office.


Mishra said that all facilities would be provided to the extremist after his surrender as per provisions.

On the other hand, Samir said that he had joined ultra left outfit after his family refused to give him money for purchasing mobile phone and computer and was lured by the outfit in December, 2017.
