A school teacher in Bihar has been accused of sexually exploiting several minor children at a government school in Muzaffarpur district, media reports said.

The accused teacher was identified as Kasif Raza, according to OpIndia quoting abplive.com.

According to reports, five students, who are studying in class 1, have alleged that the teacher often used to put his hands in their pants and insert fingers in their private parts.

He threatened them not to reveal the matter to anyone else he would ensure their names were removed from the school register.

An FIR has been lodged against the accused after one of the victim's parents informed the school principal about the teacher.

Additionally, an education department official has confirmed that prima facie the case is true, reported OpIndia.

Police have launched an operation to nab the accused who has taken a leave from school and since been absconding.

After getting information about the matter, SDM East Amit Kumar told OpIndia that the matter has come to light from Bandra block.

He said the accused would not be spared.
