Bihar: Jitan Ram Manjhi's son held for carrying Rs. 4.65 Lakh in cash
Patna, Sept 13 (IBNS): Former Bihar Chief Minister and NDA ally Jitan Ram Manjhi's younger son was detained on Sunday for carrying Rs. 4.65 lakh in cash, media reports said.
The police allegedly made the discovery of the cash in his possession while checking vehicles at a checkpoint at Maqdumpur police station in Jehanabad District.
Parveen Manjhi is currently being questioned by the police.
In absence of a satisfactory reason, the cash will be seized by the Income Tax authorities, reports said.
