Kaif , who was giving police the slips for the past four months, had reportedly reached court dressed in “burqa” (veil) to escape being caught by the police.

Kaif who claims himself to be cricket coach is accused by police of being a “conspirator” in Ranjan murder case.

He was last seen outside the Bhagalpur jail gate receiving RJD politician Mohamad Shahabuddin after he was released from jail on September 10. He was also seen with Shahabuddin at latter native village at Paratappur when he reached there after his release, as per reports.

Kaif went into hiding after the police launched raids to arrest him when his photographs with Shahabuddin made headlines in all newspapers.

The issue took a political turn when another photograph showing Kaif with health minister Tej Pratap Yadav went viral in the media.

Last week, the police attached the accused property after he failed to surrender. The police have also registered a case against his family who protested on the streets and block traffic, protesting the attachment of properties.
