Bihar polls: JDU denies ticket to two MLAs

Patna, Sept 18 (IBNS) The ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) on Friday denied tickets for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections to two MLAs- Munna Shahi and Satyanand Satyarthi, reports said.

 Shahi is the sitting MLA from Barbigha while Satyarthi represents Munger constituency in the Assembly. .

Tickets for the Assembly polls were  given to Poonam Devi from Khagaria, Ram Balak Singh from Bibhutipur and Manju Verma from Cheria Bariarpur. They were allotted the tickets at the residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The party has also  assured a ticket to Ramanand Mandal from Lakhisarai seat and Gopal Mandal from Bhagalpur.

Meanwhile, former minister  Dadan Pahalwan is set to join the JDU at the party headquarters in Patna.

Earlier in the day, NDA partner Lok Janshakti Party of Ram Vilas Paswan released the first list of 12 candidates for the election.
