Biman protests closing of Shyamal Sen Commission
Kolkata, Oct 24 (IBNS): West Bengal Left Front's chairman Biman Bose expressed protest on Friday against the closure of Shyamal Sen commission which was formed by the West Bengal government to investigate the Saradha chit fund scam.
Once, when this TMC led government formed this commission, Left front protested vehemently against it. They also animadverted of this commission's money return process to the investors of Saradha.
On Friday, Bose said that West Bengal and the central government should take strict action against the chit fund companies.
He claimed that the previous Left Front government took strict steps against chit fund companies in WB.
Bose told that they never resisted against Shyamal Sen Commission and they would continue their protest until WB government renews this commission. He also demanded to the WB government to publish the whole report of Shyamal Sen Commission publicly.
Bose said that the CBI probe in Saradha ponzy scam was the decision of Supreme court, neither of the state government nor of the central government.
He also complained that Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were trying to invent a communal politics here in West Bengal. In this situation WB LF has decided to organize protest march against communalism in those areas of Bengal where people of all religions and communities live together.
