Guwahati, Mar 27(UNI) BJP national President Amit Shah will be campaigning for BJP and its ally Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) in Assam tomorrow.

Shah is scheduled to attend an election rally in Kaliabor constituency in central Assam.

AGP's Mani Madhab Mahanta is contesting as the BJP-led alliance candidate in Kaliabor, which is currently held by Congress.

Shah will also campaign for the party's Jorhat candidate, Tapan Gogoi, who is also a member of the state ministry.

Gogoi had been given the party ticket over the sitting BJP MP.

These two constituencies will go to the polls in the first phase on April 11.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to campaign in the state on March 30 next.
