BJP committed to stamp out corruption from politics: Amit Shah

Patna, Jan 10 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday said Prme Minister Narendra Modi-led central government at the centre was committed to weed out corruption from every sphere of life.

“We are happy to inform that the BJP government under Narendra Modi is working on three fronts—to bring electoral reforms, weeding out black money and maintaining probity in politics,” Shah told a function in Patna.

Stating the demonetisation drive has helped the common men, Shah said, “By stopping theft of cash, volume of budgetary provision for welfare of poor would be enhanced”.

Earlier in the day, the BJP chief reached Takht Harimandir Patna Sahib and offers prayers there. He is latest to reach there and seek blessings from the 10th Sikh Gru.

Last week, more than 500,000 Sikh devotees from India and abroad arrived her to join celebration organized to commemorate the 350th birth anniversary of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh.

Quite a number of leaders from across the party also visited there.
