BJP finally becomes part in PPA led coalition govt in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, Oct 14 (IBNS) : The BJP in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday officially become part in the People’s Party Arunachal (PPA) led state government with induction of senior BJP MLA Tamio Taga as a minister.

Arunachal Pradesh governor V Shanmuganathan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Taga during an oath taking ceremony held at Darbar Hall of Raj Bhawan in Itanagar.

Arunchal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, his cabinet colleagues, top police and administration officials presented in the oath taking ceremony.

The Himalayan state bordering with China now become the 14th state of the country having coalition government.

Pema Khandu, who also leader of PPA partner of North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) said that, the people of Arunachal Pradesh wanted development and it will happen under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh assembly PPA has 44 MLA’s, BJP has 11, Congress 3 and 2 Independent.
