New Delhi/IBNS: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday named 57 of its candidates who will fight the upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls.

Delhi will witness a contest in 70 seats in total.

The Aam Aadmi Party, which will aim to come back to power for the second term, announced its candidates on Tuesday.

BJP's Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari made the announcements on Friday.

"We will name candidates for the remaining of the candidates soon. We are hopeful that this is a victorious team and we will win the polls," he said while addressing a press conference.

He said: "The BJP will surely form the government in Delhi."

He said the party will contest the polls with a 'positive' outlook and agenda.

Delhi will vote to elect a new Assembly on Feb 8.

Counting of votes will take place on Feb 11.

CM Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP stormed into power in the capital in 2015 by clinching 67 out of 70 seats.
