Bomb blast in Bihar's Arrah kills two

Arrah, Bihar, Jan 23 (IBNS) A policeman and a woman carrying a bomb died when it exploded in a court premise in Bihar's Arrah on Friday morning, police said.

The bomb with the woman went off and also injured 14 others, including lawyers and cops.

The explosion occurred at 11.30 am and in the melee two prisoners being produced in the court escaped.

The woman was sitting near a place where a police van had arrived with prisoners.

Why the woman was carrying the bomb was not clear it.

Police are yet to ascertain if it was a suicide attack.
