Brigade Commander level Flag Meeting between India, Pakistan Army held to reduce border tension

New Delhi, Sept 21 (IBNS) A Brigade Commander level Flag Meeting was held on Monday at Chakan-da-Bagh between the Indian Army and Pakistan Army Officers.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and issues of regarding ongoing ceasefire violations, targeting of civilians and sniping action on Line of Control, read a government statement.

"Both sides have mutually agreed to exercise restrained and take steps to defuse the situation," read the statement,

The Flag Meeting was chaired by senior Brigadier of Indian Army and lasted for about an hour.
