New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) A number of countries have come forward backing India in its fight against Pakistan aftermath the Pulwama attack.

"We deplore terrorism......we deplore it wherever it takes. We will work with India to make sure that those who are responsible are held accountable," British High Commissioner to India Dominic Asquith told reporters.

To a question on whether the Pulwama attack was a matter of concern, Asquith said he is 'not worried' about the incident and pointed out that United Kingdom's relation is very strong and wide in its scope and "very committed".

In a unique gesture displaying solidarity with India and also the victims of Pulwama attack, the New Zealand Parliament on Wednesday unanimously passed a motion condemning the February 14 attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.

Moving the motion, New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters said - " I move the motion that this House condemns the Feb 14 act of terrorism on Indian CRPF leading to large loss of life. We express solidarity with Government of India at this difficult time as well as offer our deep sympathies to those affected".
