British PM Rishi Sunak arrives in India for G20 Summit, Narendra Modi welcomes him

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in India on Friday to attend the G20 meeting in New Delhi.

Sunak said he is looking forward to meeting global leaders and addressing some of the challenges faced by the world.

"I’ve landed in Delhi ahead of the #G20 summit. I am meeting world leaders to address some of the challenges that impact every one of us.Only together can we get the job done," he tweeted.

Sunak is accompanied by his wife Akshata Murthy, who is the daughter of Infosys founder N. R. Narayana Murthy.

Indian PM Narendra Modi welcomed him to India and wrote on X: "Welcome
@RishiSunak
! Looking forward to a fruitful Summit where we can work together for a better planet."

The G20 Summit begins tomorrow in New Delhi.
