BSF organizes civic action programme and free medical camp in South Salmara

Guwahati/IBNS: The Border Security Force (BSF) organized a civic action programme cum free medical camp on the occasion of celebration of BSF raising day at LP School, Jhagrachar near BoP- Kakripara in South Salmara Mankachar district on Saturday.

Lalit Kumar, DIG of BSF had inaugurated the program in presence of M.R. Meena, CO6, Priyranjan, 2ic, Staff officers & Coy Cdrs.

During program Blanket, Mosquito Nets, Sports Items, School bag, stantionary and other community development items like Water storage tank, Plastic table & chair, dustbin etc. were distributed to the villagers and students of Jagarahchar and kakripara G.P.

During the programme local people, students were participated in the culture program organized with the help of BSF.

Apart from that, a medical camp was also organized in which Dr. Tamal Saha SMO ( BSF), Dr Baharul Islam CHC Mankachar and Dr Mahmud Ahmed Dispensary Kakripara, along with BSF medical staff, diagnosed and distributed medicines to the civilians of local area Kakripara and jagrahchar G.P.

During the program, along with huge gathering of 2000 people approximately, president and reputed member of the society were present at the event.
