New Delhi, Oct 3 (IBNS): BSP chief Mayawati on Wednesday said her party will not form an alliance with the Congress in the upcoming polls in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

"We will form alliance with regional parties or will fight alone," the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh told while addressing the media on Wednesday.

"People of the nation have not forgiven the Congress for their corruption. The Congress party did not rectify itself also over the months," Mayawati said.

"The Congress party is not ready to bring changes in itself," Mayawati said.

Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will elect a new Assembly in the upcoming months.

The elections are crucial before the Lok Sabha polls which is scheduled to take place in 2019.
