Challenge accepted, will capture Delhi: Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata, Apr 27 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday accepted the challenge thrown by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah and claimed that she would capture Delhi.

The WB CM was responding to Shah's attack on her during his visit to the eastern state.

"I accept the challenge of those who challenge me. We'll capture Delhi," Banerjee told mediapersons.

"They come from Delhi and spread lies. They are in a hurry (to capture power in Bengal)....They cannot handle Gujarat, but they are eyeing Bengal," the Chief Minister added.

During his visit to Bengal, Shah had said: "No one can predict who is the next President of BJP but everyone knows who is the next President of Congress or TMC."

Attacking Banerjee, Shah ahd said: "Politics of violence and appeasement by Mamata banerjee's TMC cannot stop the surge of BJP in West Bengal."
