Congress names Capt Amarinder Singh as Punjab's CM candidate
New Delhi, Jan 27 (IBNS): The Congress on Friday named leader Capt Amarinder Singh as the party's Chief Minister candidate for the Punjab polls.
Congress vice -president Rahul Gandhi declared his name for the top spot.
Singh said he is committed to serve the people of Punjab.
Singh tweeted: "Humbled & honoured to be Punjab Congress' CM face. Committed to serving my beloved state & bringing back the smiles on the faces of Punjabis."
