Congress splits in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Nov 3 (IBNS) The Congress party in Tamil Nadu split on Monday with the announcement of the relaunching of Tamil Maanila Congress.
Congress senior leader GK Vasan re-launched the Tamil Maanila Congress which was founded by his father in the mid 1990s.
 
He relaunched the party quitting the Congress. 
 
"We want to give an alternative to the Tamil Nadu people," he said.
