Covid-19: Rahul Gandhi launches medical advisory helpline

New Delhi/UNI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched 'Hello Doctor', a medical advisory helpline for Covid patients and urged the doctors to come forward and extend their support.

Taking to Twitter, Gandhi said, "India needs to stand together and help our people. We have launched "Hello Doctor’ a medical advisory helpline. Please call +919983836838 for medical advice. Dear Dr’s & mental health professionals, we need your help."

Urging the medical practitioners to help the people in distress, he also attached a google registration form with his tweet.

Meanwhile, India recorded 401,993 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the largest single-day spike since the start of the pandemic, as per the Health Ministry.

With this, the total number of those who have tested positive for the virus in the country has reached 19,164,969.

Also, the death toll has risen by 3,523 during the same period to 211,853 people.
