CRPF Sub-Inspector guns down his colleague in Assam

Guwahati, Nov 17 (IBNS): A CRPF Havaldar was gunned down by a Sub Inspector of same unit in Assam's Nagaon district on Monday, police said.
According to reports, Ashok Singh Tomar (45 years), a Havaldar of CRPF’s 34-G company was gunned down by his colleague at the camp at Hojai in Nagaon district.
 
“When Ashok Singh Tomar was taking to the magazine guard before leaving for the railway station for his next posting in Srinagar, Sub-Inspector Simro Ram (51 years) arrived there and shot three rounds from his AK-47 rifle targeting to Ashok,” a top police official said.
 
Injured Ashok hailed from Madhya Pradesh was admitted at nearest hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
 
Sub-Inspector Ram ran to Hojai police station and surrendered with his weapon.
