Jammu, Feb 22 (UNI/IBNS) :Life limped back to normal after Jammu district administration relaxed day curfew on Friday.

All government and private schools reopened almost after a week but colleges remained closed as a preventive measure.

Section 144 CrPC will continue while the 2G mobile internet service has also been restored but 3G and 4G services are still suspended.

IGP Jammu Manish Kumar Sinha has asked the people not to use internet facility for rumour mongering and anybody found indulging into it will face action.
District Magistrate, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar said the day curfew was relaxed from 0500 hours to 2300 hours.

He said that schools and offices have resumed their normal working.

Curfew was imposed in Jammu on February 15 after violence erupted during a daylong shutdown call by the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries to protest killing of CRPF personnel in Pulwama attack.

The commercial transport also hit the streets on Thursday.

Life returned to normal after curfew relaxation.
