New Delhi, Apr 24 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi has said that the alliance between his party and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) can still take place if AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal drops condition of including Haryana.

In an interview with Navbharat Times, Gandhi said: "We are ready for a tie-up till the last second. The moment Kejriwal drops the condition of including Haryana, it will happen."

Gandhi said Kejriwal had proposed a 4:3 (four for AAP and three for Congress) formula for the Delhi alliance.

The Congress chief said Kejriwal added the condition of including Haryana alliance when the Delhi leaders got convinced of the one in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Congress has announced its candidate list for six seats in Delhi.

Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dikshit to contest the Lok Sabha polls as the country's oldest political outfit announced its candidate list on Monday.

Dikshit, the former Delhi Chief Minister, is contesting from North East Delhi.
