Delhi: Fire breaks out at AIIMS

New Delhi:  A fire broke out on the second floor of AIIMS main building in Delhi on Monday, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.

According to DFS, the fire broke out on the second floor of the old Raj Kumari OPD building.

The fire department received a call from the emergency ward of AIIMS Delhi.

Responding to the call, a total eight fire tenders were rushed to the site to douse the flames.

The fire was brought under control, DFS said.

The cooling process and search operation were underway, DFS added.
