Delhi polls: AAP alleges BJP workers attacked Arvind Kejriwal's car

The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday claimed the Bharatiya Janata Party members attacked former CM Arvind Kejriwal's car while he was campaigning ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls.

The AAP said the party chief's car was attacked with bricks and stones.

After the attack, AAP shared a video of the incident on its X page and wrote: "BJP candidate Pravesh Verma's goons attacked Arvind Kejriwal with bricks and stones while he was campaigning and tried to hurt him so that he could not campaign."

The rivalry between AAP and BJP has further escalated with both parties launching aggressive campaigns featuring creative visuals and sharp attacks.

Delhi will go to the polls in a single phase on February 5, with results to be announced on February 8.

The elections are set to witness a three-way contest between AAP, BJP, and Congress.

While AAP seeks a third consecutive term, the BJP aims to reclaim power after a 25-year hiatus, and the Congress hopes for a revival after being unseated in 2013.
