Demonetisation: Modi babu has no solution except giving bhashan, says Mamata Banerjee

| | Dec 10, 2016, at 07:27 pm
Kolkata, Dec 10 (IBNS): Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation, Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee said that the former has no other solution except lecturing people.

"Modi babu knows that #DeMonetisation now derailed. Except giving bhashan, he has no solution," she tweeted.

Also attacking the PM over his speech, TMC national spokesperson Derek O'Brien said, "Modi babu just said:Govt is ready to debate.I'm not being allowed to speak in LSabha so I'm speaking in Jan Sabha (We say: factually wrong)."

The TMC like most opposition parties has engaged themselves in a rant against the government's move to scrap out old 500 and 1000 rupee notes in order to curb corruption.
