Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Nadeem Khan, who was last seen in the blockbuster Hindi film Dhurandhar, has been arrested for allegedly raping his housemaid over several years on the pretext of marriage, media reports said.

The arrest followed a complaint filed by a 41-year-old woman at the Versova Police Station.

As Khan’s residence falls under the jurisdiction of Malwani, the case was subsequently transferred to the Malwani Police Station.

According to the complaint, the woman began working at Khan’s residence around a decade ago, during which the two allegedly entered into a physical relationship after the actor promised to marry her.

The woman alleged that Khan failed to honour his promise despite maintaining the relationship for years, prompting her to approach the police.
