Droupadi Murmu to visit Maha Kumbh tomorrow, take a dip at holy Sangam

Indian President Droupadi Murmu will visit Prayagraj and attend Maha Kumbh on Monday.

Maha Kumbh is considered the world's largest spiritual and religious congregation.

It began on January 13 and will continue till February 26.

The festival has attracted thousands of pilgrims from across the globe.

She will take a dip in the holy Prayagraj Sangam (the conglomeration point of Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers).

"During her day-long visit to Prayagraj, the President will take holy dip and perform Pooja at Sangam, perform Pooja and Darshan at Akshayvat and Hanuman Mandir, and also visit the Digital Kumbh Anubhav Centre," the official statement issued by the President's Office.
