Earthquake felt in north India, Bihar, West Bengal

New Delhi/Kolkata, May 12 (IBNS) Another tremor was felt across north and eastern India on Tuesday around 1235 pm with epicenter of the quake located in already quake devastated Nepal again.

People in many places, like in Gurgaon of National Capital Region, rushed out of their homes and offices. In Siliguri in north Bengal people also rushed out of offices.

The tremor was felt in Patna, Kolkata and other cities and towns.

An India Meteorological Department (IMD) report said the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.1 with epicenter near Kathmandu in Nepal again. The intensity is considered "great".

Nepal witnessed a massive earthquake on Apr 25 last, resulting in the death of over 8000 people.
