ED conducts multiple raids in Kolkata in 'lottery scam' case

Kolkata/IBNS: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted multiple raids in Kolkata in connection with the probe into the alleged lottery scam, media reports said.

The raids were carried out at several locations in and around Kolkata.

A lottery ticket printing facility in Michael Nagar which falls in the New Barrackpore zone was also raided.

The case pertains to the alleged money laundering by diverting funds collected by selling the lottery tickets to influential people.

Raids were also carried out at a complex in South Kolkata's posh Lake Market area.
