Four persons of a marriage party killed, 20 others injured in Assam road mishap

Guwahati, May 25 (IBNS): At least four persons of a marriage party were killed and 20 others injured in a road mishap in Assam's Kamrup district on Monday morning, police said.

The incident took place at Bongora area near Azara outskirts of Guwahati at around 3-30 am on Monday when a bus carrying the marriage party hit a truck.

Four people of the marriage party were killed on spot and 20 others injured.

The injured persons were rushed to Guwahati Medical College hospital.
