G20: PM Narendra Modi meets Korean Prez and Saudi Crown Prince

Osaka (Japan), Jun 28 (UNI) Less than a month since his swearing in for the second time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday engaged himself at high level diplomacy interacting with several world leaders including key Asian players.

On the sidelines of G20 Summit, Mr Mod held bilateral meeting with President of South Korea Moon Jae-in.

Prime Minster also met with a delegation from Saudi Arabia led by Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

"An invaluable strategic partner. PM Narendra Modi met with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on the margins of the G20," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

He discussed deepening cooperation in trade and investment, the spokesman said.

Matters related to energy security and counter terrorism also figured at the talks among other areas.

Mr Modi held bilateral talks with the US President Donald Trump and held yet another crucial meeting under the JAI (Japan, America and India) framework at a meeting with President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

He also addressed an informal meeting of BRICS leaders and wherein he gave a clarion call to fight terrorism and also for convening of a global meet to deal with the terror menace.
